TROSA Moving is licensed by the NC Utilities Commission, the regulatory body for moving companies in the State of North Carolina, and is a member of the NC Movers Association. The NC Movers Association has recently produced this Public Service Announcement (PSA):
Not only does this PSA talk about the dangers of hiring a company without a license, it also gives some good advice to protect yourself and your belongings:
Only use licensed movers – check the NC Utilities Commission website for their list of certified movers and the Moving 101 Consumers Guide
Get a professional estimate before your move, showing your mover all the items that will need to be moved
Make a written list of your inventory, with photos of your most valuable and fragile items (it’s a good time to review the valuation section of the Moving 101 Consumers Guide, or take a look at our blog post explaining the different valuation options).
TROSA Moving is proud to be a licensed professional mover, a longtime member of the NC Movers Association, and in good standing with the Better Business Bureau. Check out our reviews online as well – our favorite customer is a well-informed and well-prepared customer!
